Laura Johnson is an accomplished development strategist and accreditation consultant with over two decades of experience advancing mission-driven organizations. She has secured more than $12M in grants and funding for healthcare and education initiatives, guided multiple organizations through complex accreditation processes (ACCME, ACPE, Joint Accreditation), and built sustainable funding infrastructures for NGOs across Africa and beyond. Currently serving as President of the U.S. Board for the DeSanto Centre for the Deaf in Zambia and Development Strategist for Eye Corps in Tanzania, she leads comprehensive fundraising, donor engagement, and strategic planning efforts. Through her independent consultancy, she partners with organizations worldwide to strengthen compliance, expand funding capacity, and design frameworks that ensure long-term impact.
