Device activation is done using the Stations module in Eventscribe Onsite. This video will demonstrate how to activate the Controller, Workstation and Podium devices to create your Speaker Ready System network.

The Controller will be used to log speakers in to Workstations, monitor network status, control the syncing of files to and from the cloud and to distribute presentations to the Podium devices in the session rooms. This must be the first device activated for your event.

Workstations are used by speakers to review or update presentations or upload new versions of presentations. During activation, the Workstation is connected to a Controller.

A Podium device used in the session room to launch the most up-to-date version of the presentation. During activation, the Podium device is connected to a Controller and assigned a session room to ensure the correct presentations are distributed to the correct Podium device..
Monitoring Your Speaker Ready System Network

Once the Speaker Ready System network is activated and the devices are all deployed to the assigned rooms, the System Operator can easily monitor the status of the devices.
